Warner Memorial Park is more of a preservation than urban park. This park is located on the southwest side of Manhattan and features long trails through hills and dense trees. Warner is a sprawling park with beautiful tallgrass across stunning hills year round. In the Spring, Summer, and Fall, the wooded areas are perfect for family photos!

There are several access points where I like to take clients. The first set of photos above are off the trailhead on EJ Frick Drive on the north side of Warner Memorial Park. The rest were taken near the main entrance off Warner Park Road on the southwest corner of the park. I’d love to explore some of the other trailheads with you!
Working that magical golden hour light! So many great spots at Warner Park to enjoy both the scenery and natural glow.
Between the variety of deciduous trees, evergreens, and always beautiful Flint Hills tallgrass, I recommend Warner Park year round!
