With years of experience volunteering for the Riley County Humane Society, pet photography has become one of my favorite genres. Animals can be so difficult to photograph whether they are super active, or shy and just wanting to hide. It takes a special pet-loving personality to connect with pets and capture their true colors. It often requires quite a bit of photography skill, too!
In February 2020, the Manhattan MAG published an article highlighting the previous six years volunteering my time, skill, and equipment to the Riley County Humane Society.
It warms my heart to work with these animals. To know I played a role in getting them adopted? Priceless! Want to see some pet pictures? Of course you do!
The Riley County Humane Society cares for more than just dogs and cats! Check out these adorable critters who I got to help out!
While photographing a litter of kittens or puppies is an adventure all its own, we occasionally came up with some super cute themed ideas for showing off these sweet animals.
Gotta love when they cop an attitude! Or in this case, a rabbi-tude.
Whether you are wanting some special pet portraits of your furbaby or wanting to include him in your family photo shoot, I am happy to create some masterpieces for you! I donate a portion of all pet photography sessions to the Riley County Humane Society. Click here to learn more about me and my passion for photography!
