I have a beautiful maternity session to share with you!
I absolutely love the look of matte edits. They are whimsical and soft…nostalgic.
I know that this is a fad, so I usually only edit a full gallery in matte for low light indoor sessions (like births) where I feel that neutralizing that dark space enhances the focus on the people and emotions.
But, when Jes Hogan requested that her maternity pictures be edited in matte, I was all over it!
It takes me roughly the same amount of time to convert color images to matte as it takes me for black and white edits, so if you’d love this look, let me know and I’d be happy to replace your black and whites with matte!
