Often times, I’ll just show up at a session with only a vague idea of what my client has in mind.
That used to make me a little nervous because I would want to make sure I had any appropriate/helpful props and back up plans (especially for a late morning session like this one).
I’ve since realized that this really is the best way to go when there are several kiddos setting the pace. It’s best to just go with the flow.
Meet 6 month old Elliot and his big brothers, Declan, and Lincoln.
Any parents of a toddler knows who is really in charge during a photo session and in this case, that role was split three ways.
Two locations and three little bosses…yikes, right?
The trick here was to give the kids options and if one thing wasn’t working, switch gears and come back to it later if needed.
So, we did some inside pictures and went back and forth between solo shots of the boys and pictures of them together.
A little patience goes a long way!
(And no, I’m not this patient with my own kids lol!)
You are doing such an amazing job with these three, Mama!
Give yourself a big pat on the back!
