While I am perfectly comfortable working with one small area of your home, it sure can be fun to capture your new little one in a variety of spaces.
That adds a little something special for Mommy and Daddy as their little ones grow up and they get to remember all of those little details from their home at the time.
Either way, I’ve discovered that newborns tend to be much more relaxed in the natural environment of their new home than in a photo studio. And if there are older siblings, it is much easier to get great captures of them with their baby brother or sister if they can take breaks as needed. There are so many more natural pose options in your home versus the studio, too!
If you twist my arm, I’ll still let you bring that adorable bundle of love into my home studio, but expect me to put up some resistance. I know that even if it’s just one small room in your house where we can get some nice natural light, your little one is more likely to cooperate and not be disturbed by the unnatural studio lighting.
Enjoy this beautiful newborn session and all of those sweet, little details!
