This sweet session was a combination of a Pet Portrait mini and images for the Riley County Humane Society to use for an upcoming Newsletter.
Not only will the Humane Society be receiving a donation from this session as part of my special Pet Portrait sessions, but this awesome foster mama gets a handful of extra images as part of my volunteer work!
Little Mew and Spud are what are referred to as “foster fails”. A foster fail is when someone has every intention of providing a temporary home for a shelter pet, but who falls in love and formally adopts. I personally hate the label because love shouldn’t have anything to do with failure!
Just like we decided to adopt our foster ferrets after nearly a year of fostering them from RCHS, Cyndi quickly fell in love with her fur babies and officially added them to her family.
This sweet pup’s name is Coolie.
She’s been hanging out with Spud and Little Mew and she is currently still up for adoption through RCHS.
Go check out her profile and help her find her furever home!
Enjoy the rest of these captures starting with two lucky shots I got when we first moved outside.
Before my eyes had even adjusted to the sunlight, I noticed Spud romping with two playful butterflies! So neat!
