The Schmits are a 5-person one car family. My awesome husband bikes to work everyday, so it works…usually. I was scrambling to get ready for a photo session while Jeremy took Annika to soccer practice when I noticed the text from my client. “We still on for 7:00pm?” I was starting to get worried!
Jeremy said it was no problem. He’d be there to pick me up on time to get me to Top of the World Drive, then back down to get gas in the car, to the grocery store, then to get Annika from practice. Easy peasy!
This was a new client, but anyone who has met me knows that I know no strangers. I gave my client a call and asked if she’d like to give me a ride and I’d call my husband off so he could breathe. No problem!
I admit, this isn’t the first time I’ve done this, but the other time, my client was a good friend. I apologized for being so unprofessional before I remembered what a rock star move that could be.
No seriously! Here I am hanging out in the back seat with my new best friend. This was Sarina’s turf and she was happy for the company. During the 5 minute drive, I had that little cutie in giggle fits and eliminated any potential warm up time during our session…we were ready to rock and roll!
